Not On Tour

bio photo

What happens when four cool kids from the center of Israel come together in energy, raw emotion, and pure heart for what they’re making? One fantastic female-fronted poppy punk rock hardcore band called Not On Tour. As diverse as the landscape on which they roam, their music reaches into all latitudes, pulling forth the equivalent of gold dust, thus they dig further and mine all territories from which the rock (and roll) shall be found within the mountain of their very selves.

Not On Tour will remind you why you got into this stuff in the first place. Imagine the film that is your youth; the excitement and intensity shared by yourself and your compatible compatriots in that most important moment of sweat-heart-lust-truth and epiphany, all beating around your squeeze club sex or head phoned blessedness or loud sung drunkenness . . . This is what Not On Tour sets upon your table. Like a pack of Ponce De Leons in search of forever fountains, but musically and for you the listener, they carry on our old battle cry with promise and the hope of eternal beginnings, instead of end.

The Evil Eye

the evil eye

From Oslo, Norway comes The Evil Eye (featuring members of Turbonegro, Caddy, The Yum Yum, Silver, and Wonderfools), blasting with a predilection for beautifully dirty melodies and catchy rock simplicity. Their knack for writing the perfect tune, combined with bridges built strong enough to get you across the Atlantic, prove to be an addiction you won’t want to kick.

Caddy

tomas 3

Caddy is the one-man powerpoptacular music sensation, Tomas Dahl. Best known for his work in such bands as The Yum Yums, Wonderfools, and Turbonegro, Tomas bombards the studio like a Dave Grohl affinite to lay down his “angular, gutsy, guitar-fueled melodies and full-bodied harmonies”, playing every instrument, singing every single note, and even producing the music himself. Born from such endurance and master craftsmanship came his first album, the “catchy as chlamydia” son-of-Brian-Wilson baby, Electric Hero. The sounds of summer have never felt so soothing nor have they entangled themselves within your amygdala to keep you feeling warm all winter long. Turn off your television set. Put on your headphones. This is music for everyone!

“I really like this pop song.” -Jeffrey Foskett / Beach Boys / Brian Wilson (on “Dumb Angel”)

“Aye carumba. Caddy is the shit!” -Joe Queer / The Queers

“Awesome Norwegian modern power pop is the order of the day with Caddy, whose angular, gutsy, guitar-fueled melodies and full-bodied harmonies will please fans of The Posies and other bands of that ilk. A force to be reckoned with!” -David Bash / Journalist: Bucket Full Of Brains and Shindig magazine / Founder/CEO: The International Pop Overthrow Festival

“One of the best rock ‘n’ roll drummers I have ever seen.” -Nick Oliveri / Queens Of The Stone Age / The Dwarves

“Caddy represents all that is exciting about rock ‘n’ roll: muscular rhythm and a perfect sense of melody in the same packet. Cheap Trick, The Move, and The Ramones would be proud! Tomas has a fantastic knack for producing shiny pop music that is still powerful. Really exciting stuff!” -Ray Ahn / The Hard-Ons

“Brilliant from one of Norway’s least known legends! This is perfect pop. Caddy can carry my club and balls anytime.” -Happy Tom / Turbonegro

The Last Chucks

the last chucks

In the winter of 1998 three underestimated diner junkies from Atlanta joined forces with the single goal of playing catchy caffeinated songs that would take rock and roll by storm and one day lead it in new and innovative directions. These subterranean intellectuals would come to be known as The Last Chucks

Fueled by coffee and cigarettes, The Last Chucks hit the studio in March of 2001 to record their powerful debut album, Zombie High, hailed as “just great punk music . . . a good CD to have” (www.punkmusic.com) with “lots of up-tempo, sunny guitar playing” (Punk Planet), which has now reached the bless-ed eardrums of fans in all seven continents.

The present lineup of unmatched musicianship includes our rock and roll drumming hero, David “Goose” Bilsland, the rhythmic convergence and brute strength of Daniel Dorris on bass, and original guitar player, vocalist, writer, arranger, and musical genius, the leather jacket laureate, Mike Cammarata (The Queers, Parasites), who has sharpened the “chainsaw guitar” technique into his own blinding lightning bolt force.

The Last Chucks are currently working on songs for their sophomore album, which promises to breathe new life into an already decaying art form.

The Last Chucks: always evolving . . . heartfelt lyrics . . . pop sensibilities . . . something for everyone.
